Congrats to eveyone for a great race... huge increase in numbers and a great spread afterwards !!! And great to see results soo fast
Great race. Well organised and great food. only comments would be the kids and slower runners right up the front. It was a bit dangerous for the first half mile.
Roads very narrow for the first half mile, needed to be wider. I was 6.5 min pace and there were ppl near the front it seemed doing 10 min pace. Had to overtake >400 people.
Good race nice atmosphere, very impressed that the results & pics were up so early this morning.
Food was great.
First time doing this particular race, excellent race, great atmosphere both before & after. Well deserving its 'best 5k' title. Will definitely be doing again!
that's savage crowds and one of the reasons why i didn't do it. it would have too difficult to navigate through the mob (my excuse anyway). they could put this on twice a year and it would be just as popular
really enjoyable event-thanks to all the organisers for their hard work throughout
agree with comment no. 3. Great race, fabulous setting and well organised, but the start was dreadful, big risk of falling.
Fantastic atmosphere, well organised. Thoroughly enjoyed run. Thanks to all who helped organise the event with such enthusiastic community spirit! Back next year...; ))
Great race, my first time completing it, lovely atmosphere, will do it again!
Yes, start was terrible, there is definitely going to be a fall at some point. They should do what they did at Fota i.e. have different zones depending on your estimated time.
I passed out a lot of people in the first 400m who had absolutely no business being near the front.
overall a very well organised event. Great sense of community spirit and a nice route.
Yep, the start was dangerous but it's getting like that in so many local races during the boom in the running scene.
Not fair to blame organisers about number of non runners at the front. It's up to the individuals unfortunately. Very well organised and great food afterwards, well done to all and thanks for another great race
