Ballycotton Summer Series...
The Ballycotton Summer Series came to a close in 2017 and at the time it was the oldest road race series in Ireland. The dates were always the same i.e. the 4th Thursday of every month from May to August.
The series was very popular with new and seasoned runners alike and in the years before it ended, each race would attract in the region of 500 participants.
