Ballinascarthy 10k next Friday (6th July 2012) evening cancelled!

As most of you will know, the heavy rain from the thunderstorm last Thursday resulted in flooding in several parts of Cork County, especially in Clonakilty in South-West Cork. The village of Ballinascarthy was also effected with the floodwater damaging the surface of local roads and the local community hall.

As a result, the 10k race scheduled for next Friday evening, the 6th of July has been cancelled until a future date.

The organisers would like to send their apologies to any who was going to take part.
