For those of you who run in the Ballincollig Regional Park, you might find the following of interest...
Cork County Council wishes to advise of the following forthcoming works taking place in Ballincollig Regional Park.
• Bridge Works: Due to commence on 22nd February 2016 with an expected completion date of 11th March 2016.
• Path Works: Due to commence on 29th February 2016 with an expected completion date of 7th April 2016.
*The park will remain open throughout the works but there will be diversions in effect. Signs advising of these alternative routes will be in place. It is not expected that the works will impact upon paths by the river or playing pitches during this time or to many of the woodland trails. These works form part of a €300,000 investment by Cork County Council in the park.*
