Some runs this weekend in Cork...Sun 7th Feb 2016

The weather forecast for this weekend isn't great with plenty if rain forecast for Saturday and Sunday.

On Saturday, the rescheduled Clonakilty Marathon is on and it looks as if the weather isn't much better from the time it was cancelled.

On Sunday, there are a few events. There is a 3k run in the Regional Park in Ballincollig but note that this is a low key event, there are no results. The Cork BHAA have a 6k race in Little Island....just remember that it's now €10 for non-reg. For those of you into trail running, there is a 6km run near Long Strand near the coast by Clonakilty. See links below. The forecast is for dryer weather in the morning with the late afternoon especially wet.

Cork...Sun 7th (10am)...Ballincollig Regional Park 3km fun run...€3...(No Results)...
Cork...Sun 7th (11am)...Cork BHAA Janssen 6k race...€5 reg runners/€10 non-reg...Little Island...

Hi John is the BHAA race 4 miles or 6 k as it was 6 k last year and the FMC race in Janruary was advertised as 4 mile and then ended up being run as a 6 k race

Looks like they have changed it to a 6k.

It's 6k, not much difference either way!
