It was a lovely sunny morning for this years Cork BHAA Janssen 6k race in Little Island. This was in marked contrast to a few weeks back when it had to be cancelled due to the rain and an Orange weather warning.
A total of 160 runners took part which seems a bit low for a BHAA race, I was expecting more. Maybe people are busy training for the Dublin Marathon? Recovering from Charleville? Whatever the reason, I'm sure they're glad to get the 2022 race out of the way and I presume they'll be back in March of 2023 with their usual date.
