Notice: Adare 10k road race, Co. Limerick - Sun 26th Feb 2023



The annual Adare 10k road race is organised by West Limerick AC and is one of the most popular 10k races in Munster.

The next race is coming up on Sunday the 26th of February 2023 at 1pm. Note that this one sells out every year.

From the organisers......West Limerick A.C. are delighted to announce that the Londis Adare 10k takes place on February 26th 2023 at 1pm. 

This is the 29th year of the road race organised by West Limerick Athletics Club.

Online entry is open to 1000 people and the price includes a booking fee, Race T-Shirt from 42k running and Finisher Medal which are both made from recycled materials.

Chip Timing is provided by MyRunResults.

Our race has an Athletics Ireland permit and you must be 15 years of age or older on the day of the race to enter.

We are delighted to welcome David Curtin of Londis Adare as our new title sponsor. David has
been a long term local supporter of our race and we cannot wait to work together.

For 2023 we have a new style of race t shirt and medal. These are both made from recycled
materials.

For those not currently registered with Athletics Ireland there will be an additional €2 charge
which goes directly to Athletics Ireland.

The main purpose of Adare 10k is to promote athletics in our region and to raise funds for West
Limerick AC to cater for our membership. We cater for all ages and abilities in our locality with
very active juvenile, Fit4Life and Senior groups.

The Limerick Regional Athletics Hub to be based in Newcastle West is to be completed in
Spring 2023. We have used funds from Adare 10k to develop our club and what we can offer
the community in preparation for this. We will be able to offer a full variety of track and field
events to our members in the very near future.
