The Run in the Dark 5k event was held in Cork City centre on Wednesday the 9th of November 2022 with 520 finishers in the 5k and 480 finishers in the 10k.
As can be seen, that's a huge 45% drop on the numbers taking part in 2019. Despite this, it still remains one of the largest races on the calendar in Cork.

The new route around the Marina (same as the original I think) is much better for running but nowhere near as much fun as running around the city centre.
Not very well advertised is one good explanation for drop in participants
Saying that, I tried to sign up a matter of hours after entries closed and was told it was sold out as opposed to after the deadline
