Part of the Carrigaline to Crosshaven walkway to close for 2-3 weeks for repairs

Cork County Council have announced that they will be starting work to resurface part of the Carrigaline to Crosshaven walkway on Monday the 15th of February 2021 and as a result, part of it will be closed for 2-3 weeks.

Update 19th Feb 2021: The good news is that the works only took one week to complete!

As you can see, they made a fine job of it.

Info... 'Surfacing repair works will be taking place on the Carrigaline to Crosshaven walkway starting next Monday 15th February. There will be no access to the greenway from the Car Park at Kilnagleary.

Works will be confined to the first 1.5 kilometres heading towards Crosshaven from Kilnagleary. Access to the walkway will be available via car park at Rabbit Island and also from Crosshaven. Works are anticipated to take 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting
