Cork runner Brian O'Shea raises €7,000 for Pieta House!

Cork runner Brian O'Shea (L) presenting a cheque for €7,000 to Darran Coyle Garde of Pieta House

Last year, I had a post up about how Cork runner Brian O'Shea was running a 5k every day in 2021 and was raising funds for the Pieta House charity.

Brian has been in touch to say that he completed a 5k for 366 days in a row which included the New Year's Day 5k parkrun in Ballincollig at the start of 2022.

Brian writes... "Delighted to present Darran Coyle Garde from Pieta in Cork with a cheque for €7,000 as a result of the 5k a day challenge I completed in 2021. "

Brian would like to thank the running community in Cork for all the support and donations.
