In the year leading up to the 2012 London Olympics, Liam O’Reilly was Rob Heffernan’s full time coach and played no small part in Rob's eventual fourth place finish in the 50k race walk. Liam was also a member of the full Ireland coaching set up in London and has previously worked with Mark Carroll and a number of GAA teams around the country.
In an interview on local Cork radio station Red FM, Liam O'Reilly talks about the Olympics, the current start of Irish Athletics and what needs to happen in the future.
