Results of the Shannonvale 10k race...Fri 19th Aug 2011
After a dull dreary day, the clouds parted just in time for this 10k road race in Shannonvale near Clonakilty in West Cork. A total of 62 people took part.

I ran the 10k in Shannon Vale last night, a tough but enjoyable course, well organised and certainly has the potential to be annual event. Perhaps as a series, including the Ballinascarty and Courtmac 10k ???
Ran this race last week, the hill at the 2.5 km mark was really tough going, but apart from that the course was really good and pretty much flat. Would love to see this being an annual event.
