The IMRA Mushera-Boggeraghs 10.8km trail race was held on Sun 3rd Mar 2024 with a field of 66 runners making it up to the summit of Musheramore mountain and back down again.
The photos show why the additional safety kit is so important as conditions can change so much in the space of 10 minutes. The photo above shows some runners near the summit with a dusting of snow and visibility down to about 100m.
As you can see from the photos below, not long after they were running in bright sunshine on the lower slopes.
