At this time of year, it seems to be a feast or a famine when it comes to races at the weekend. This weekend, there is no shortage of events to choose from in Co.Cork.
The weather forecast looks a bit grim for both days but just remember that the Met Eireann forecasts are often written with a Dublin bias. Rain is forecast for Saturday but it is clearing from the south-west. This means that Cork is likely to see the brighter weather before the rest of the country. Whatever about clearing in time for the 9:30am parkruns. it should be a lot better for the race in Eyeries in the afternoon.
