The Donal Ahern Memorial 5k charity run was held on the grounds of Blarney Castle on Sat 28th Nov 2015 on what was a pretty miserable day. As can be seen from the photos in the galleries, at times it was ok but there were no shortage of heavy showers.

Great event. Fantasti of the castle to permit the race through the beautiful grounds. Huge number of volunteers again out in poor conditions to ensure race went well. Numbers down on last year cause of the weather thats a pity. Super photos of very happy looking runners, (thanks as always guys.) . Cgc
Great course, challenging enough some parts was like a cross country, credit to the Ahern family,very well organised on time and every thing went smoothly,pity about weather thats out of everyones hands, still loved it though def back again next year..
Great to see this back on the calendar for a 2nd year. Looking forward to it going from strength to strength next year. Great to see the so many people getting behind a great cause.
