Notice...LeisureWorld Rebel Run 10k - Sun 8th Nov 2015


This 10 km road race is coming up in Bishopstown on Sunday, the 8th of November. That is a change from previous years when it was on in October. Another change this year is the inclusion of a 5k race.

This is going to be of interest to a lot of people for a number of reasons.....
1) There aren't that many 10k races really on the calendar. Loads of 5k and 5 mile races but fast 10k courses are a bit thin on the ground.
2) In Bishopstown in Cork City so it is central to a lot of people.
3) Dry-fit top included in the early entry fee of €15.

Over 18’s only (APPLIES TO 10K)- 5k event open to those 16+.
Early Bird entries for both events
Please Note that it is not permitted to wear headphones while participating in this event.

Note that the race starts at 9:45am.

Rebel Run 4 Fun 5K - €10 (includes goody bag, chip timing, bib number)

Number collection times...
Sign in will take place in Leisureworld Bishopstown during the following times & dates prior to the event on November 8th: Thursday 5th  & Friday 6th between 5pm and 8pm and Saturday 7th  November between 12pm and 2pm.  You will pick up your goody bag, souviner running tshirt (for 10k only) timing chip and race number here.

PLEASE PRINT OFF AND BRING YOUR EMAIL CONFIRMATION you recieve when you register  WITH YOU TO SIGN IN.


THERE WILL BE NO SIGN IN OR REGISTRATION THE MORNING OF THE EVENT. 




Courses......A There are some changes to the 10k course this year. The basic loop of the 10k is still the same although the start and finish are different. Last years course can be seen HERE

The 5k course starts with the 10k, takes in the walkway riverside behind CIT and finishes on the track as well. More info on the 5k course HERE
