Molly Scott from Ireland wins 60m Hurdles at English Championships
Last weekend, the English Age Group Championships were held in Sheffield on Sat 28th Feb/Sun 1st Mar 2015. A number of Irish juvenile athletes took part and as outlined in an earlier post, Ciara Neville from Emerald AC in Limerick won the 60m sprint ahead of some of the top U17 sprinters in England.
In the final of that 60m race on Saturday, Molly Scott from St.Laurence O'Toole AC in Carlow finished 2nd by just two one-hundredths of a second.
Ciara and Molly who are both just 15 years old were back in action on the Sunday but this time in the U17 60m hurdles.
