For those with an interest in barefoot or minimalist running, there is a workshop in CIT in Bishopstown on Saturday, the 12th of May. The workshop will be given by Australian Max DeLacy who is an ultra marathoner and barefoot running coach. From the organisers........."With the increase in barefoot and minimalist activities and footwear it is vital that people know how to use them correctly. Max's workshop will give participants all the tool they need to understand barefoot movement and how it differs from running in traditional shoes. And equip them with the correct techniques to ensure that if they want to start running barefoot, or simply incorporating barefoot activities into their normal training, that they will do so correctly."
The cost of the workshop is €30. More information about the workshop on the Barefoot.ie website
