The organsers of the 5k parkrun in Youghal have said that they hope to restart their weekly event by the end of September 2022.
The Pobalscoil na Tríonóide parkrun originally started in late October 2021 and there were 35 events until it had to be cancelled in mid-June 2022 due to building works at the school. The average number of participants over the 35 events was 66 which is pretty good.
The next closest parkrun is in Cork City so I'm sure a lot of runners in East Cork will welcome its return.
