You only realise how much it was missed when you took part today. Great to see it back

When will the results be posted?

Do we have any notion why this event was almost totally ignored in the national media, the women's mini marathon is still being talked about but I've seen nothing 're Cork,

Shame there wasn't any water for the people at the back.

96fm sponsored it and even there generic news only spoke about 'the' mini marathon

Will there be results for the mixed relay teams, 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc. Relay results seem to be just every team, great if they had seperate results.

Just for the record... There were around 6000 runners in the Cork City Marathon, Half-Marathon & Relay. There was 12410 in the Women's mini-marathon in Dublin.

I thought it was over 10,000 runners as each relay team has 5 runners.

There are 473 relay teams listed in the results x 5 max per team= 1892. Not all relay teams will have 5 so that number is probably down around 1500-1600.

For me the numbers taking part are somewhat irrelevant, the cork marathon gave an opportunity for everyone to take part in some way as they saw fit, its surely what running is all about, its very poor form by all the media outlets who essentially ignored it..

473 x 4 = 1892
473 x 5 = 2365

If there could b a series of decent 5 ml races organised in cork that would be great

Shame there wasn't heat blankets at the finish,as it was absolutely freezing
