This 8km trail race in Curragh Woods near Midleton is coming up on Sunday the 29th of May 2022 with an 11am start.
These type of IMRA races are ideal for someone who wants to try a trail race but would find the mountain races too tough or too long. This is essentially a 8k run in the woods where most people will walk the steep sections but there is some lovely running on the soft trail routes. At times, it feels like you're running on carpet.
Annual membership of IMRA is required (€10). Entry is €7 and you must pre-enter.
Curragh Woods is the north-west of Midleton and is on the road to Lisgoold.
