The chart above shows the numbers of finishers per week in all 131 of the 5k parkruns in Ballincollig Regional Park. They go from the first event in June of 2016 up to the last one of 2018 on the 29th of December.
At first glance, it's difficult to pick out any real trend as there is so much variability from week to week.
The one hard piece of data is the the average number per week is 267.
What I did was to break down the numbers and get an average number per event for every year. This is what the chart looks like..
As it clearly shows, the Ballincollig parkrun is growing and the average number has grown year after year. The numbers for 2018 are up 19% on those for 2017.
