My third time doing the 10k. Once again I found it a very well run event with a really nice T-shirt and medal.I just wanted to express my immense gratitude to the organisers, stewards and volunteers who did their jobs so very well in appalling weather.
Not forgetting the many spectators who also stood out in the rain calling out encouragement. Bravo to everyone involved.
This was our third time doing the half marathon and once again the organization and friendliness of all involved is second to none. Shame about the weather for all the supporters but it didn’t bother the volunteers one bit. They were amazing again.
this is my 2nd time doing the half marathon and i have to say it was one of the best events . from the moment i parked up the car to the organisation the volunteers the fantastic support along the route and copious water stops along the way In spite of the rain which was very welcome there were many Music acts along the route to encourage us along the way trays of oranges boxes of jellies given out by the kids high 5 from the kids a fantastic event . Loved the t shirt this year and the super medal . and the savage burger after the event with the cuppa tea and biscuits. use of the gaa club for changing and bag drop great. Only small downside the ladies showers ran out of water . shares a tank with the men which was a pain for the ladies who had done a full marathon but that was only a minor glitch in an overall great event . Well done to everyone involved and will look forward in tackling those bleeding hills again hopefully in 2019.
Great event again. My third time doing the half. A tough course but a great medal, shirt and a cracking burger. Hopefully we'll get better weather next year for the family day. Congrats to all involved it will only grow if you keep the standard this high. See you in 2019.
The best way to describe this event is massive experience for lots of people having lots of fun whilst funding very good causes
First time doing this race (half) and it was perfectly organized I must say, fun, colourful and plenty of food afterwards,, the massage at the end was a really nice touch, I'd recommend it to a friend!
