Results of the Boherbue to Kiskeam 4 mile road race...Mon 6th Apr 2015

Just under 100 runners turned out for the annual  Jack O'Keeffe  BOHERBUE-KISKEAM '4' Mile road race on Easter Monday 6 April 2015. In terms of prizes, the prizes were exceptional with the top 10 men and women getting into the prizes as well as the usual category prizes. As short races and prizes go, it's probably one of the most generous in the country.

Lovely race and always great hospitality but 2pm on Easter Monday? I know plenty runners who would do this race if was 11am or 12noon.

i agree with the above comment a race should start no later than 11am. Maybe a later start suits recreational runners? meaning more entries. i also think people would rather do a out and back course or loop instead of having to get the bus back to the start line.
keep things simple works
