We're all over the place on the blog this week....from 9 year olds running 5k's to 80 year old running half-marathons. This time, it's back to the other end of the spectrum again and something a bit more local. While the blog concentrates on adults running in races, it's important to acknowledge some of the up and coming local talent as well.
Well done to 11 year old Maggie Sillett from Ballymore Cobh AC who won a 2k race in Mount Juliet in Kilkenny today in a time of 7m 11s. Maggie is of course following on the footsteps of Sonia O'Sullivan who won many juvenile races for the club.
Welcome to the Running in Cork blog, home of the Cork running community. This is the largest website in Cork & Munster for news on road races and general running news. Included are a current race calendar, race previews, photos, results as well as some local, national and international news items.
