This was my second year in a row doing this run, and a very enjoyable run at that! Great atmosphere and organised well. We were very lucky the rain held off! Will be back next year again! Cheers to those who organised the tae and sandwiches in the temperance hall. And especially the chocolate buns, yummy!
Slight error in results...Over 60...Tim-Joe Buckley 1st over60..correct..Maurice Tobin should be 2ndover 60...and John Holland should be 3rd over 60....Very enjoyable race and very lucky with the weather !!!
1st timer for Kinsale. Nice route, mostly flat with one downhill. No traffic for first 3 miles, then some cars as you come back towards town, but very well stewarded and organised. Not sure why more than 236 didn;t turn up for this - good setup, and looks like an ideal run for a PB. We even had the sun out for the full race !! Showers available afterwards too. Will definetly return next year.
