Hopefully they acknowledge the course being short. It wasn't a small error. The course shared showed start and finish in same spot but looked to have started at one of the older starting points.
Also around by the pairc leads to huge course cutting. Should probably place a cone so people know exactly where to go around. People were turning earlier and earlier across the grass. Poles on course lead to many running into them, this wasn't helped by the huge crowds and people just couldn't see them.
Hopefully they finally get a good course there for John Buckley
I started my watch well back from the start line & still got just under 4.7k at the end. Great event nonetheless!
Yes the course was regretably short but we all ran the same course so it is just a lesson learned and it is very very rare Cork BHA has this kind of situation so for me anyway, it is past....and the BHA races are incredibly good value and great food etc after
