In a close race with compatriot Asafa Powell, Usain Bolt came from behind to win the mens 100 metre race in Oslo last Thursday evening. However, it will probably be best remembered for the way the flower girl was nearly flattened at the end!
1 BOLT Usain JAM 9.79
2 POWELL Asafa JAM 9.85
3 CLARKE Lerone JAM 10.10
4 WARNER Justyn CAN 10.20
5 MAGAKWE Simon RSA 10.30
6 DEVONISH Marlon GBR 10.40
7 CERUTTI Fabio ITA 10.52
While 9.79 seconds is still well off Bolt's world record time of 9.58, it still equals the world record that Maurice Greene set back in 1999. Asafa Powell's time of 9.85 equals the 1994 world record.
