The Cork Novice, U23 and Masters Cross Country was held in Conna in north-east Cork in what were very mild conditions. There was a large turnout with 107 taking part in the mens race and 63 in the womens. The winners were George Waugh of Bandon AC and Martina Kiely of St.Finbarrs AC.

Great to see the crowds at conna, hopefully this is a sign of things to come for xcountry. Well done frank hayes and also well done to john walshe for quick results, practically straight after the event, take note bhaa, still nothing on cork to cobh, seems like forever, never mind, good things come to those that wait, YA.
First time doing Xcountry yesterday and have to say I really enjoyed it. Completely different to the road running scene. Great to see so many of the Cork clubs coming out to support this event.
Andy Gibson the Girls were not in the labour ward they were running Xcountry,you would make a great midwife Andy :O)
