South Kerry Greenway predicted to generate €22-38 million of economic activity annually


Kerry County Council recently posted the image on social media showing the projected social and economic benefits of the new South Kerry Greenway.

Projected Social and Economic Benefits
🚴 Jobs Created: 300 to 540 - (Supporting local employment in tourism, hospitality, retail and related services)
🏃‍♀️ Visitors Annually: 230,000 to 430,000 - (Boosting footfall, supporting businesses and enhancing our communities)
🚲 Annual Impact: €20m to 38m - (Driving economic growth and investment across South Kerry)

The whole Greenway from Caherciveen to Glenbeigh is about 32kms in length and roughly half of it is open now to the public.
