| Second place finish for Marie Howard of Leevale AC in the 10k |
The main running event in Munster last weekend was the Run Kilkee Half-Marathon & 10k on the west coast of Co Clare. Despite the damp conditions, the event broke through the 2000 mark for the first time ever with a combined total of 2010 finishers across the two events... 790 in the 10k and 1220 in the half-marathon.
In the 10k race, Marie Howard of Leevale AC finished on the podium with a second place finish in a time of 39m 24s.
