This might be of interest to anyone that just wants to find out what the MMRA trail races are like without entering a full event. However you will still need to join the IMRA for 2020 (€10) and have a rain jacket.

Know anyone who wants to try out trail running but a bit nervous of what's involved?
We're putting together a couple of 'Try a trail' events (noncompetitive, easy runs/walk) over the coming months to encourage people to give trail running a go, guided by experienced trail runners.
The runs will be at Curraghbinny Woods,, Bansha Woods and Mangerton, before our scheduled races. Details on flyer. Free event but will require annual membership of IMRA.
