On Saturday, Irish international athlete Ciara Mageean ran a personal best time of 4m 00.15s in the final of the women's 1500m at the World Championships in Doha.
Even though she finished 10th in the race, it marks her out as one of the to middle distance athletes in Europe.
The top Irish times for the 1500m are shown below and only Sonia O'Sullivan has run faster.
