This unique 5k race was held on the runway of Cork Airport at 2am in the morning of Saturday the 1st of October 2016. A total of 1003 people took part and of those, 58.4% were women.

A great idea to organise a race at airport. Obviously the race must happen well after final plane has landed. 1 small suggestion: it was quite foggy, damp & cold at 2am, so perhaps the race could be moved to mid summer.
