At the 2013 European Athletics Indoor Championships in March, Ciarán Ó Lionáird finished 3rd in the Men's 3000 metres.
Last week, local radio station Red FM caught up with him for an interview on his plans for the future. He talks about how he hopes to put his achilles injury finally behind him and to prepare for the European Championships in 2014, the World Championship in 2015 and the Olympics in Rio in 2016.
