Great Race. Nice course and great local support. The good evening was a bonus and the huge walk beforehand meant loads of people around cheering on. Well done on a first effort. I would go back.

Well organised race and great support from spectators. Fair play to all involved I didnt think it was a flat course.. seemed to be always either climbing or running downhill. great event. lovely sunshine. wasnt expecting such a big crowd before the marathon.

agree that race should not be advertised as flat lots of time lost in the 2nd mile after that bit of a hill and the long drag to the finish. no problem with the route just the advertising of it was wrong.

Excellently organised, well stewarded, lovely course, fantastic spread and what an atmosphere! Fair play to all the walkers who lined the road by the finish line cheering on the runners! Those claps were well appreciated.

What an excellent event - well orgaionized, well supported locally, with a true community spirit, course was relavitely flat with one hill - and I managed my first sub 6:50 pace - I will definetely be back next year

The course definately was not as flat as advertised but the weather was fantastic & the support from spectators was amazing.

Can you put meters for height and km for distance on those figures? Otherwise they're cryptic. I don't know what is considered flat in the world of running, to me it was not strictly speaking a flat course, but I wouldn't call the hills "drags". I guess it's all subjective.

Really enjoyed the race, and I achieved a personal best. Great atmosphere, stewards and volunteers were all very nice and efficient at their jobs. Will definitely do this again next year.
