I thought everything about the race was fantastic. Great weather, great stewarding, and great food afterwards. Take a bow Eagle AC. The course, I felt, was testing but fair. The hill at 4 miles was a tester, but a great race all-told. And results out inside 9 hours. Congrats all.

Interesting to see that there was 211 runners that were unattached to a club.

The delay with the results after the race was ridiculous I had to leave at 1.10 and no sign of them.I heard later that some of them eventually were announced nearer to 1.30. This seems a common occurrence for Eagle AC at this race who at this stage must hold the record for the slowest provision of results in Cork.

Having been involved in organising our local 10k race for the past two years, delays in getting results out is something that can easily happen. All it can take sometimes is for one error to be made and this throws everything out. Rather than rush the results through, I'm glad to see that Eagle AC took the time to make sure the results were correct before announcing them. I didn't win a prize but was happy to enjoy the great spread put on and wait for the results. I thoroughly enjoyed the race and took away a few tips for our own race this summer!

All comments good or bad are always welcome, they are what helps us and any other club try and make our races even better for the following year, there was some problems with the results and we did take the time to sort them out and be sure we got them right which did cause a delay in announcing them and for that we apologise for the delay.
