Lost items at the Mealagh Valley 10....A pair of red mittens with a Canadian logo were found after the Mealagh Valley 10 mile race near Bantry. If these are yours, contact Geraldine O'Sullivan at 087 6173376
New Road Race in Skibbereen?........For those of you in West Cork, you might find this of interest. There is talk of an upcoming road race in Skibbereen in late April. More details as they become available.
Derval O'Rourke.........There was a piece in the Irish Examiner on Tuesday about Derval O'Rourke competing in the Irish Indoor Championships in Belfast next Sunday. However, according to her own blog, she currently has a slight injury and won't be competing. The newspaper quotes her coach as saying that she is currently preparing for the European indoors in Paris in March.
Next weekend.....The next race coming up is the Carrigaline 5 mile road race on Sunday. More details later...
