Last week, I put up a post about barefoot running. In the meantime, I came across another clip.
This one is about an 8 mile race / fun run in New York city. Also included in it is the author of the 'Born to Run' book which is about the Tarahumara Indians in Mexico who run long distances barefoot........covered in a previous post HERE.
Welcome to the Running in Cork blog, home of the Cork running community. This is the largest website in Cork & Munster for news on road races and general running news. Included are a current race calendar, race previews, photos, results as well as some local, national and international news items.

Great video. I love barefoot running as it helps strengthen the muscles of our lower legs. I also use barefoot shoes like Kigo Shel whenever I am running on concrete or asphalt as I am afraid of getting my feet sore or blisters. The good thing about this shoes is that it also mimics the feeling of barefoot running which is really great.
