New 5k parkrun world record set in Edinburgh - 24th June 2023

A new world record time for a 5k parkrun was set in Edinburgh on Sat 24th of June 2023. 

Andy Butchart finished in a time of 13m 45s which is 3-seconds faster than the previous world best.

That works out as an average pace of 4:26/mile or 2:46/km.
