Sonia O Sullivan who launched the event in Cobh last year sends her best wishes to all on
reaching this milestone; “Congratulations to Cobh junior parkrun on reaching your 1st
Birthday this Sunday. I am so proud to see the Cobh junior parkrun reach so many young
children each week and know it wouldn’t be possible without the amazing commitment from
the weekly volunteers who keep the show on the road every week and ensure a safe,
friendly and energising run for all the children. Happy 1st Birthday and I look forward to
dropping in one week when home in the summer.”

Cobh junior parkrun event director Majella Canty said: "congratulations to all the volunteers,
children and parents who have contributed to the success of Cobh junior parkrun. We are thrilled to
host an event every week that has such a positive impact on the Health and Wellbeing of our
children, ourselves and our community."
