A record 511 runners took part in this years Dan Byrne Memorial 5km race in Doneraile Park on Friday the 29th of May 2015. Organised by Mallow AC, this is an impressive number considering it follows on from roughly 900 at the John Buckley 5k last Tuesday and 500+ at the Ballyandreen 5 mile yesterday.

Excellently organised race. A real credit to Mallow AC considering the numbers involved
Brilliant race.Fantastic for all the Family.Only complaint is that the Opw could have left the Car park open for duration of race as road was dangerous when getting back to car.
