My first race! Had a nice time. Everything was well-organised. Well done to the organisers.
I've run this a few times and think its a little gem of a race...honest course(definitely should not be described as fast), beautiful quiet country roads, not packed although deserves to get better numbers, real lovely village finish with the locals out.
My first time doing the race and I really enjoyed it. Well organised and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Lovely quiet country roads. Thanks all.
i can't quite figure out why this race doesn't attract more runners than it does every year. Lovely atmosphere there, totally deserted country roads, 3, yes 3, water stations, and a great welcome by the locals at the finish.
Anyone who was considering this and didn't, should deffo give it a go next year. You won't be disappointed.
Very well organised race but disappointed with the fast flat advertisement. I was two minutes off my pb. There are a lot of pulls on this course. Lovely and quiet route but certainly not a fast flat one apart from first mile.
Thanks for the feedback. It looked faster on the map than perhaps it turned out to be. I've modified the course preview to take account of this.
