Tough enough 10k race, was a constant hill until 5k mark and the hard work was lost very quickly on a steep downhill after the water station, personally I would prefer if the course was reversed. The organisation was outstanding, great treat to get a goody bag and great selection of food and drink at the end.
without doubt one of the best value races of the year! dj, goodie bag at the end , a free rub and as many sambos as you wanted!
great night out!
another great west cork race.well do to all.
any photos
The organisation was super again. Nothing left to chance...great goodie bag and great atmosphere afterwards as we all tucked into the generous spread of food as well as the yogurt, juice etc. I'll be back...
Just picked up the site and I also ran the circuit in Bal on what was another beautiful evening for the run as in 2010. The organization of the event was excellent and unlike similar 10K there were people out at every crossroads along the route which added immensely to the atmosphere. The refreshments and goodie bag at the end were very generous with all the locals involved and a great community spirit evident. See you all this year 2012
