Great race. Great spread. Great weather. Honest challenging 5k. You would get found out at the end if you pushed to hard to begin with. I'll definitely be back.

One thing, and this is not just BHAA races but there are always the people who go right up the front when they are no way capable of being up there. There was a kid about 2 back last night. He was getting in peoples way right from the get go. Small fella so people didn't see him either and almost falling/tripping up. Even if it was zoned people will still go up the front as its all about honesty. Just some people don't care. Its the one thing that annoys me every race. Maybe I should stand on the start line so they won't annoy me anymore :-)

maybe a chip,start and finish might help.a lot trying to get pbs,even if doing 18m or 30 m

Agree with the above comment.. I see some people who run at 8 min/mile pace sitting up the front at every race... An accident waiting to happen especially on a route like this where runners starting on a downhill..

Zoning the start might help.. worked well in ballintotis
