Elle O'Sullivan McCarthy is from Cork and starting on the 11th of September, she plans to run the 250kms from Dublin to Cork. This aim of the run is to raise funds for the HOPE Foundation charity.
She will be joined on the run by RTE Sports presenter Jacqui Hurley, Professional Rugby Player Alex Kendellen and Cork Hurler Shane Kingston.
For insurance reasons, she can only run with the HOPE Ambassadors on the charity run.
Starting at the GPO in Dublin on Thursday the 11th of September, Elle will run through Blessington, Carlow, Kilkenny, Clonmel, Fermoy and will then finish at Cork City Hall on Sunday the 14th of September.
