Results of the 5k parkruns around the county on Saturday 24th May 2025. Approximately 1,051 runners and walkers took part in the 11 events in Co Cork.
Report... In contrast to the sunshine of the last few weeks, it was overcast for the 5k parkruns in Co Cork this week.
Macroom... Well done to Padraig Sheahan who completed his 200th 5k parkrun!
Ballincollig... Well done to Tobi Grab who earned his 100th volunteer credit this weekend!
Well done to Donal Hannigan who completed his 100th 5k parkrun at the Ballincollig event!

Castlehaven... Olympic Silver medallist and former world champion Sonia O'Sullivan was a visitor to the Castlehaven 5k parkrun this weekend.
Glen River... Well done to Catherine Deenihan who ran her 100th 5k parkrun this weekend. 98 of the 100 have been at the Glen River event.
