The inaugural Cork BHAA Apple Employees Sports & Social 5k was held on Tues 23rd July 2024 in Hollyhill in Cork City and attracted a field of 362 runners.

Great to see a new race on the BHAA calendar. Well done to all involved.
While the website states that "The inaugural Cork BHAA Apple Employees Sports & Social 5k was held on Tues 23rd July 2024", I have printed results of 'Apple' road races as follows -
January 18, 1986 Apple Computer Limited Road Race Results. This was a 5 mile race.
June 13, 1990 Apple Computer Road Race Results - 4 Miles
July 17, 1991 Apple Computers - Results of "Apple 4" Road Race
It is possible/probable that one or more of these races would have been organised by the Cork BHAA Committee, with Apple sponsoring the prizes etc.
Great to hear. I'm only doing the website and results a mere 12 years and did allude to this in the results post. I'd love to get my hands on these results. I know Kevin Cummins has plenty of these too but if there are any gaps, can you get in touch via our website?
