The annual Munster Athletics Road Championships were held this year in Castlelyons, Co.Cork on Easter Monday the 2nd of April 2018.
In the men's race, there was 88 taking part which meant there were 9 club teams. Just two of the six Munster counties had county teams.

Just 48 took part in the women's race with 7 clubs managing to field full teams. Three of the six Munster counties had county teams.

Not shocked at the low turn out.
How do they expect to get a crowd on Easter Monday.....some of us do actually work bank holidays.
This coming Sunday should have been the date
