The grant awards made under the Cork County Council Municipal Grants Scheme 2016 for groups in the Ballincollig-Carrigaline Municipal District were announced on Monday the 21st of March. While a number of different sporting bodies were awarded grants, Carrigaline Road Runners AC managed to secure a grant of €1000.

The application was for three times this to develop our juvenile section- equipment such as junior hurdles, cones, starting blocks etc. Carrigaline was a huge number of primary school children and we expect to have a large membership within the next few weeks. Training commences on April 12th.
